In the process of production and processing of drugs, metal foreign bodies such as metals are often mixed into products due to wear and tear of equipment and negligence of manual work, which brings great harm to the safety of products, thus causing great loss to the reputation of pharmaceutical manufacturers. Therefore, we often use food metal detectors to detect products in order to eliminate the presence of metal foreign bodies in products.

 

Most food metal detectors are composed of two parts, i.e. detection head (including inductors) and automatic eliminating device. Among them, detection head is the core part, which consists of three coils, one central transmitting coil and two equivalent receiving coils. The coil is fixed in the detection head, and then the height is generated by the oscillator connected by the radiation coil of the middle detection head. Frequency AC magnetic field, while the two sides of the receiving coils are connected to each other so that the induced voltage of the magnetic field is cancelled before it is disturbed. Once the metal impurities enter the magnetic field area: the output signals of the two input coils can not be cancelled, the food metal detector can detect the presence of metal. The uncoupled induction voltage is processed by the sensor through the control system, and generates the rejection signal, which is transmitted to the automatic rejection device, thus removing the metal impurities from the production line.

 

At present, the most common metal detection equipment on the market is tunnel metal detector. This type of metal detector mainly aims at on-line inspection of finished and semi-finished products, providing final inspection before shipment..
