Civil Aviation Administration said it would issue policies and regulations to promote the development of Civil Aviation
In an interview with reporters at the Beijing International Commercial Aviation Exhibition in 2012, Li Jiaxiang, Director-General of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said that the Civil Aviation Administration would promulgate policies and regulations to promote the development of civil aviation. There will be special public airports around metropolitan areas, including Beijing and Shanghai. At present, specific details are being worked out.
Li Jiaxiang said that at present, CAAC has 3100 aircraft, including commercial aviation and general aviation, a total of more than 1100 aircraft. In the development structure of China's civil aviation in the past three years, the growth rate of civil aircraft is the fastest, reaching 28% in 2011, exceeding that of passenger, cargo and other categories of aviation. At present, China's civil aviation industry is constantly adjusting, among which civil aviation is particularly important. I hope that this exhibition will play an important role in the industrial restructuring of civil aviation, especially in the development of civil aviation.
For the next step of policy, Li Jiaxiang said that compared with general passenger and cargo aviation, official aviation has unique requirements, and it needs to be more convenient, faster and smoother. The Civil Aviation Administration will promulgate policies and regulations to promote the development of civil aviation. In the long run, there will be special airports around metropolitan areas, including Beijing and Shanghai, to meet the development requirements and characteristics of civil aviation.
Speaking of the specific details being worked out, Li Jiaxiang said that the pilot project of low-altitude reform is under way.
Li Jiaxiang said that in order to support the development of civil aviation, the Civil Aviation Administration is formulating industrial policies for the development of civil aviation, including the operation, service of civil aviation, facilities of aviation airports and improvement of civil aviation process.
